Z-Ray integration included in WebSmart 10.9 release

BCD Software, now Fresche Solutions, has included integration with Zend’s Z-Ray in the latest release of WebSmart PHP, which gives programmers the tools to quickly develop PHP or RPG mobile applications and web services on the IBM i.

Z-Ray integration further cements BCD Software’s partnership with Zend as the main resource for PHP on the IBM i.

WebSmart PHP integration with Z-Ray enables developers to write better and faster PHP programs. Included with both Zend Server Professional and Zend Server Enterprise version, Z-Ray provides real-time insight into how PHP applications are running and consuming resources. This includes PHP variables to DB2 for i queries to RPG program calls.

Also included in WebSmart 10.9 is IDE debugger support for Clover programs.

It is worth noting that BCD Software only provides full support for the last five releases of all BCD Software tools. If you are running WebSmart 10.2 or older, it is recommended that you plan to upgrade as soon as possible.
