What’s coming up for the IBM i world in 2018?

For those in the IBM i community, its great to take the chance to meet with and learn from others in the IBM i community, always expanding our knowledge and finding out about current events and trends in the field.

Last year we outlined some of the exciting events and learning opportunities for IBM i professionals and developers that were scheduled 2017, with events like the COMMON Annual Meeting and Exposition outlined as one of our highlights of the year, not to mention International iPower 2017, which featured sessions from our very own Pete Samways and Shahid Latif.

2017 was an exciting year for the IBM i community, and 2018 is set to be no different. Here are some of the IBM i events we’re most looking forward to hearing about and attending this year.

PHP UK Conference 2018

14^th-16^th February 2017, London
The PHP UK conference returns in 2018 for their 13^th annual event. The three-day conference kicks off with an optional workshop day, featuring hands-on immersive training, followed by two days of talks from experts, peppered with networking opportunities and social events.

Fresche Solutions IT Leadership Forum 2018

26^th February-8^th March, European Tour
In their European tour, our partners Fresche Solutions are brining their IBM i event for IT leaders to Madrid, London, Milan, Ehningen, Brussels, Stockholm. COMMON POWERUp 2018

20^th-23^rd May, Texas
COMMON’s POWERUp conference is in Texas this May, gathering the global IBM i community for three days of learning sessions, including panel discussions, keynotes and workshops.

International PHP 2018 Conference

4^th-8^th June, Berlin
The International PHP Conference in Berlin has been running for over a decade. The conference offers attendees the opportunity to learn from experts and peers, with topics surrounding pragmatic expertise in PHP and web technologies.

i-UG International i-Power 2018

12^th-13^th June, Milton Keynes
Following in the success of i-UG’s 2017 i-Power event, International i-Power 2018 is set to be even bigger, with practical education sessions on day 1, and the multi-stream conference on day 2. The event also features expert panels, executive sessions and vendor verticals, as well as networking and entertainment in the evening.
