Raz-Lee Security releases iSecurity Compliance Suite

Raz-Lee Security has announced the availability of iSecurity Compliance Suite as part of their range of solutions for IBM i security, auditing and compliance.

In the compliance suite, Raz-Lee has included a number of components with a common workflow and methodology. They have also included Compliance Evaluator, which is being used to a host of large companies who wish to attain compliance, to prove to auditors that they are indeed compliant to predefined compliance templates and to retain, over time, corporate compliance policies.

Raz-Lee’s announcement shows how User Profile, Native Object Security and IFS Object Security components of Compliance Optimization present the user with the following advantages:

• Advise: as an optional first step, the user can invoke a wizard which, by use of Artificial Intelligence, reviews existing items and classifies them automatically into generic templates. This unique feature eases the compliance starting point and provides the answer to “How should I set up my template?”
• Plan the security aspects of protecting the components via automatically generated templates encompassing as many individual entities as possible
• Check that the planned security aspects comply to the corporate compliance policies as defined by the corresponding templates and, via exception reports, discover any items which do not comply with the defined templates
• Set the security-related attributes to their appropriate values as defined by the corresponding template. Product output can be directed to PDF, HTML, CSV and Output files.

Compliance Evaluator within the suite covers all other compliance-related aspects on your IBM i. For example, it offers ‘ready-to-run’ compliance checklists for PCI, SOX, HIPAA, FDA and other regulations. Its checklists can be modified to adhere to site-specific requirements provide managers and system administrators with a colour-coded Excel spreadsheet, which can be displayed in both summary and detailed formats.
