New Utilities 400 partnership brings four new products to help solve IBM i information flow challenges

Utilities400: A New Partnership for Proximity

Proximity and Bolton-based Utilities 400 have signed a partnership to market and sell Utilities 400’s range of IBM i products which help enterprises to integrate, automate and deliver information quickly, reliably and efficiently into multiple application interfaces across multiple platforms.

Commencing with RouteOne, ProActive, iRoute and iKeyer, the products will complement Proximity’s existing (and unrivalled) range of IBM i development, support, maintenance and security tools.

Operating from offices in Leeds, Proximity has provided IBM i based enterprises with products from the likes of Fresche Solutions, Remain Software, Maxava and Raz-Lee to create modern web-based GUI interfaces; support the development of new and existing IBM i applications; enable IBM i applications to be accessed through mobile devices; automate code conversion; and maintain IBM i applications for clients across the world.

For over a decade, Proximity has also helped businesses maintain, support and develop their IBM i applications through a team of more than 40 UK-based IBM i specialists across the UK, Ireland and Europe.

Dave Pickburn, director of Proximity said:

“We are delighted to add Utilities 400 to our suite of IBM i products. RouteOne, ProActive, iRoute and iKeyer tools all complement our current IBM i development, support and modernisation toolset. This partnership with Utilities 400 makes Proximity’s IBM i offering stronger than ever, with flexible tools that can help deliver enterprise IT transformation.”

Andy Nicholson, General Sales Manager at Proximity commented:

“We’ve known the team at Utilities 400 – and the products they’ve designed and developed – for a number of years. Their knowledge and expertise in the IBM i enterprise space is well known and respected and I’m personally looking forward to bringing the Utilities 400 products to new and existing customers to help them solve their business-critical IBM i application data transfer needs.”

Initially, Proximity will be marketing and selling the following Utilities 400 products:
