Version 4.09 of the Nexus Portal has been released by BCD Software with a number of fixes and enhancements. The Nexus provides unlimited secure IBM i-hosted intranet and extranet web portals to manage secure access to enterprise-level business information and web applications.
Users can upgrade Nexus directly to the new version from any previous release 3.60 or higher.
Amongst other enhancements, BCD has proved:
- A new ECM default setting so new documents will open in a new window
- A new single view of distribution rule parameters
- Rule numbers are now displayed in the Distribution Rules portlet
- And reinstated the option to browse the ECM when creating a hyperlink in an ECM document
