If you are looking to rapidly develop web and mobile applications or web services on the IBM i in PHP or RPG, then WebSmart provides the ideal tool.
BCD Software, now Fresche Solutions, has made a number of improvements to the tool in the latest release, Version 10.7:
- You can now increase and decrease the IDE’s code font size using keyboard shortcuts CTRL+ and CTRL- in the editor
- The IDE now auto-formats PHP nested arrays
- New demo library file called MU_DATEF simplifies date-based SQL queries
- Added a new date-dimension file, MU_DATEF in XL_WEBDEMO, that’s useful for creating date-based reports
- Mass PDW generation now supports fixed format definitions, and
- You can now use Alt+D and Alt+U as hotkeys to control the search direction.
If you are already using WebSmart, please note that we are only able to provide full support for approximately the last three releases. If you’re still running WebSmart 10.0 or older, we recommend you make plans to upgrade as soon as possible.
