How top performing businesses use modern ERP software to support growth
This report from IQMS and Aberdeen Group is based on a survey of 135 Small-to-Medium-sized Businesses (SMBs).
The report highlights that ways that the top performing companies support their growth with a modern ERP system. Some key highlights include:
- The leading organisations are more than twice as likely than others to have a cloud-based ERP solution in place
- Those leading organisations are also more than twice as likely as others to have analytics embedded into their ERP solution
- Leading organisations are 2.7 times as likely to have a scalable ERP solution
- And leading organisations had a 14% improvement in operational costs as a direct result of their ERP software
“Leaders are more likely to have deployed their solution in the cloud. While on-premise is still the deployment model most frequently used, there are some unique benefits to the cloud that play particularly well to the needs of an SMB. By placing fewer demands on available resources, cloud-based ERP solutions allow SMBs to focus on more growth oriented activities”
